As the Risk, Safety and Compliance Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of operational risk, including health and safety, brand reputation, and business compliance, both here in London and as the company expands internationally. You will assume overall accountability for maintaining our risk register and identify and develop risk mitigation strategies, setting and managing relevant performance targets. You will cultivate a strong safety culture and ensure compliance is – at a minimum – within current legislation, reporting regularly to relevant Boards and Management, and supporting the business to progress risk and compliance management to ensure we are operating at a best practice level in all areas.
The purpose of this role is to effectively oversee the safe and consistent operation and maintenance of the all the automated show elements used within the production. To ensure automated systems remain in good, safe working order compliant with relevant statutory regulations and industry best practice.
This role will work with a peer-level group of three Security Operations Team Leaders to ensure the effective day-to-day management and support of a dedicated team of contracted 24hr Control Room Operations staff.
Working primarily in the Control Room, the Security Shift Leaders will ensure that the Control Room team effectively deliver all Control Room functions, including the fire-safety and CCTV Systems ‘housed’ in the Control Room, to ensure a safe and secure 24/7 Arena at all times. Whilst the control room is staffed 24/7 these roles will only work primarily 8am to 8pm on non-show days and then to the end of shows on show dates. This is indicative of the role at this moment but could be subject to change.
This is an exciting new opportunity for a suitable qualified Site Electrical Manager who has experience working within a similar entertainment sector – such as concert venues and arenas, theatres or festival sites – you will provide expertise and drive the operations for the day-to-day maintenance operations of the ABBA Voyage site and its electrical networks, equipment and building fabric, including; low voltage switchgear and distribution, Fire alarm/PAVA systems, BMS and DATA networks.
This is an exciting new opportunity for a suitable experience Site Maintenance Manager who has knowledge working within a similar entertainment sector venue – such as concert venues and arenas, theatres and festival sites – you will provide leadership and expertise in the day-to-day maintenance operations of the ABBA Voyage site and its mechanical equipment and building fabric including HVAC, water and waste systems.
